How can I use TEL3Advantage when I already have a Long Distance or Wireless Service Provider?
TEL3Advantage Flex Plan does not require you to switch your long distance or wireless service provider. When you sign up, all you need to do is call the Toll Free Access Number (1-800-999-5090) or your Local Access Number, which will allow you to use the service from your home, office, and cell phone. Just dial the access number and the number you wish to reach.

What is the difference between a Phone card and the TEL3Advantage Flex Plan?
Unlike phone cards that advertise misleading "low rates", our rates are clean, there are no additional hidden fees or taxes. Consumers should realize that in most cases calling cards have numerous hidden fees and the minutes promised are received only for one continuous call. Consumers should also keep in mind that most calling cards require you to enter a PIN for every call. This is particularly inconvenient if the user is on the go or misplaces their calling card. TEL3Advantage Flex Plan is the only program that remembers the user’s phone numbers and does not require you to enter a PIN. Plus, TEL3Advantage Flex Plan is a one-time purchase as opposed to buying a new phone card every time one runs out.

How do I place a call?
When placing a call using TEL3Advantage you have to use an Access Number. This number allows you to access our system and take advantage of our low rates without having to switch carriers. You have the option of either using our Toll free Access Number 1-800-999-5090 or a Local Access Number. (To check your Local Access Number click here )

Before making calls, what do I need to do?
At Tel3Advantage we realize that your time is very valuable, and we want to make using our service as effortless as possible. We have set up some features that will eliminate some of the steps mentioned below, so you can make calls just like you would from your home phone, and still save.

TIP #1: Set up your Tel3Advantage Access Numbers as Speed Dial
Setting up numbers as Speed Dial varies from phone to phone. Read your phone manual to see if this feature is available and how you would set it up.

TIP #2: Register your Home, Cell and other frequently used phone numbers as Instant Access Numbers
You can program up to 10 Instant Access Numbers via the web or through customer service. These are numbers that you expect to make frequent calls from. Anytime you place a call from any of these numbers, you will only have to enter the Toll Free Access Number: 1-800-999-5090 or Local Access Number in your area, and then the number you wish to call. By registering these phone numbers, you alleviate the inconvenience of entering the account number and PIN each time you make a call. With this feature you can easily access the service from the convenience of your home, office, mobile phone and fax. Please note that blocked phone numbers cannot use the Instant Access Number feature.

TIP #3: Set up frequently called numbers as Speed Dial Numbers
You can enter up to 99 Speed Dial Numbers online or through customer service, and assign them 2 digit codes. This list can be printed out so that whenever you want to reach one of these numbers you just dial the Toll Free Access Number: 1-800-999-5090, or Local Access Number if available in your area, and then the 2-digit speed dial number.

Placing a Call from an Instant Access Phone Number eg. Home, Cell etc. (what’s this? )

  • Dial Access Number (Toll Free or Local Access)
  • Followed by the phone number you wish to call

Placing a call from a Non-Instant Access Phone Number eg. Payphone, Hotel phone, etc. (what’s this? )

  • Followed by the phone number you wish to call

  • To place another call without hanging up: Dial ##
  • To redial a number without hanging up: Dial ##*#
  • If your call does not go through the first time, do not hang up. Dial ## to disconnect the previous call and then dial *# to redial the same number using a different carrier
  • Every time you place a call, the system will read you your account balance and minutes to the destination you call

If you run out of minutes, our system will automatically recharge your account to the initial sign up amount.

How do I get a PIN?
You will be asked to create a 4-Digit PIN at sign up right after you register your primary phone number.

How can I use speed dial to make things easy?
The user can enter up to 99 speed dial numbers online, and assign them 2-digit codes. This list can be printed out so that whenever the user wants to reach one of these numbers they just dial the Toll Free Access Number, 1800-999-5090 or your Local Acces Number and the 2-digit speed dial number.

No, with the TEL3Advantage Flex Plan's Instant Access Feature there are no PINS and no hassles in placing a call. We recognize up to 10 customer’s phone numbers when they call the TEL3Advantage Access Number.

How do I recharge my account?
Once your account reaches a $3.00 balance, the system will prompt you to speak to a sales representative in order to recharge your account. However, if you chose automatic recharge when signing up, you will not have to worry about recharging since it will happen automatically.

What is an Automatic Recharge?
Automatic recharge allows you to automatically add minutes to your account, so you never have an interruption of service. Your account will conveniently replenish itself to the initial sign up amount when your account balance drops down to $3.00.

Why do some countries have a higher rate to call a mobile phone within that country?
In some countries mobile users do not pay to receive a call on their mobile phone. This is known as calling party pays. Mobile carriers therefore charge more to the calling party to connect the call.

Can I get the same rates calling from my home phone?
Yes, you can use TEL3Advantage from any phone including your home phone. Just register your home phone at sign up as an Instant Access Feature so you can use our system and access our low rates from the convenience of your home without having to dial a PIN number.

How many free minutes do I get when I sign up?
You get $5 worth of free talk time when you sign up for a $25 plan, $7 for a $50 plan and $9 for a $100 plan. You can use the $5, $7, or $9 of Free talk time to call any destination of your choice, to calculate the minutes you will receive just divide $5, $7, or $9 by the rate for the country you wish to call.

What are the Instant Access numbers?
You can program up to 10 Instant Access numbers via our website or by calling Customer Service. These are phone numbers that you expect to make frequent calls from. Anytime you place a call from any of these numbers, you will only have to dial either the Toll Free Access Number: 1-800-999-5090 or your Local Access Number followed by the number that you wish to call. By registering these phone numbers (cell or others), you alleviate the inconvenience of entering the account number and PIN each time you make a call. About Billing, Payments & Account Information
 

What payment methods are offered?
We gladly accept American Express, Discover, Visa, MasterCard, along with ATM and debit cards that have a Visa or MasterCard logo. Therefore if you don’t have a credit card, you can still sign up to TEL3Advantage by making a payment through PayPal. Please do keep in mind that you will not be able to use our auto-recharge option with PayPal. You need to simply login to your account and recharge your account manually using your PayPal account.

How can I use the SMS Service?
In order to use the SMS service, first you need to make sure that your cell phone device and plan is capable of sending /receiving SMS messages.  With the SMS service, you can get your latest balance information, and change your recharge mode.

  • In order to receive your latest balance information simply write "bal", we’ll send a reply text message to you with your balance information
  • To turn on or off your account’s auto recharge status simply write " auto off" or "auto on" and text message to the TEL3 SMS number at 1-786-208-6586. Please make sure that you receive a Confirmation SMS Message from us; if there is no message then it means the request has not been received or not processed

Please keep in mind that you may be charged by your wireless provider for sending/receiving SMS messages depending on your wireless plan.

What is Notification Settings?
You can login to your back office and go to “Notification Settings”, in order to enable or disable to receive auto-credit notifications either by email or by SMS. (Please note that currently this option is available for Mobile Plan users)

Please keep in mind that you may be charged by your wireless provider for receiving SMS messages depending on your wireless plan.

No access fees, surcharges or any hidden fees. All International Rates are subject to change without notice. Visit our Rates section to learn more about the fees. All balances will expire in one (1) year of inactivity.

Customer Satisfaction Guarantee: During the first 30 days after you sign up, if you are not satisfied with the service for any reason, we will gladly refund the remaining balance.  The customer is free to cancel the service at anytime by calling Customer Service. After 30 days, remaining balance of the account can be refunded only in case of a technical problem.
